Bells Bend Park

This Tuesday morning I wandered Bells Bend Park but did NOT find the
white owl mentioned in the Oct. 27 post of Richard Connors. Best
sighting at the park was a nice male NORTHERN HARRIER that briefly
sailed by. On my way out of the area I drove the Cleeses Ferry Road
where I found a flock of AMERICAN GOLDFINCH with a lone PINE SISKIN
feeding on the weed seed along the side of the road. The harrier and
siskin were both first of the fall season sightings for me.
