Bells Bend

Went to Bells Bend this Monday morning. The road still had some
ice on it but was mostly clear. No longspurs at the sod farm
near the dead end. However, on the way back I stopped just a
bit past the sod farm, near where there is an orange and white
poll, when I saw a few sparrows. One turned out to be an
AMERICAN TREE SPARROW, likely the same one that Andy Lantz
found about 1 month ago in nearly the same spot. I'd looked
for it several times previously and not found it. Also while
I was searching I found a covey of at least 6 N. BOBWHITEs,
always nice to see.
