This is an extremely rare species in TN and it is on the TBRC Review List. Robinson lists only 6 state records of the species. Since then there have been maybe another half dozen reports including a pair that nested around Reelfoot Lake for a few years in the early 2000s and a report from Fort Campbell in 2003. To put it perspective, TN has a similar number of records of Snowy Owl and Bell's Vireo. All reports of Bell's Vireo should be well-documented and submitted to the TBRC.
