Frozen Head State Natural Area 14 February 2007 Snow, 23 degrees F I counted birds for about 15 minutes this afternoon during lunch. A light snow was falling and there was a little accumulation in the grassy areas. The highlight was three male Red-winged Blackbirds in the front yard of the visitor center. As best I can tell this is the first record of RWBL at Frozen Head bringing the total number of species recorded to 88. You can see the eBird list here: http://tinyurl.com/234guh.
