[TN-Bird] Bittern, Soras, Up. sandp., Henslow's sp., Dickcissels

Fort Campbell
Montgomery County
Yesterday Scott Somershoe and I observed the following birds between 8:00am=
and 1:00pm at forest, grassland, and wetland sites on the base. Highlights=
included 1 American bittern, 2 Soras, 1 Upland sandpiper, 3 Henslow=E2=80=
=99s sparrows, and 4 Dickcissels (FOS). Also, a singing Savannah sparrow an=
d a Solitary sandpiper eating a small crayfish were notable observations. B=
ig misses included Bachman=E2=80=99s sparrow and Lark sparrow, which should=
have returned by now. Birds were relatively quiet. Below is the complete l=
