Quick correction: The two Black Terns we had were at Paris Landing State Park in Henry County. The only terns we found at Mud Lake were numerous Least Terns. I have a few Black Tern records from Old Hickory Lake in June, although they are mostly associated with thunderstorms. I don't think that association is statistically significant, but it's interesting nonetheless.
