Another Williamson County nemesis off the list! There is currently a juvenile
Black-crowned Night Heron out in the open at the far southwest end of the lake
on Carters Creek Pk. There are also good numbers of Great Egrets and GB Herons
along with a lot of exposed mud that unfortunately didn’t have much in the way
of shorebirds. The “resident” pair of adult Bald Eagles are also present.
