This afternoon, I decided to take a break and go out to see what I could see. I wasn't really expecting to see anything but butterflies, but after about an hour of walking around my field, I headed back to cross the creek. When I got to the creek, I saw a bird flit, a White-eyed Vireo, but when I took my binocs down, I saw a bird behind it flit, I put my binocs up, and it was a beautiful male Blue-winged Warbler. I watched for a little while longer, and saw some more Blue-wings. The Blue-winged Warbler was a Year Bird, and knocks my year list up to 299! Just one more to 300! Good Birding!
