TN birders, Have been checking out the South Mouse Creek(SMC) and Cleveland Wastewater Treatment Plant(WW) at 1860 Old Lower River Road in Charleston every time I get the chance, so here are the results for the past two days: Canada goose-/WW Double-crested cormorant-SMC(9)/SMC(10)-both all time high numbers for this site great blue heron-SMC(5)/SMC(4),WW great egret-SMC(3)/SMC(3) green heron-SMC/SMC killdeer-WW(6)/WW(6) spotted sandpiper-/WW solitary sandpiper-WW semipalmated sandpiper-WW(21)/WW(19) western sandpiper-WW least sandpiper-WW(19)/WW(22) yellow-billed cuckoo-SMC-good view, gutteral call barely audible belted kingfisher-SMC/SMC-hrd both times red-headed woodpecker-SMC(hrd)-first for this site, and FOY for the county downy woodpecker-WW(hrd 2),SMC(hrd) hairy woodpecker-/WW Nashville warbler-/WW chestnut-sided warbler-/WW magnolia warbler-/WW,SMC pine warbler-WW(hrd) American redstart-/WW Common yellowthroat-WW(f) summer tanager-WW(hrd) blue grosbeak-/WW(hrd) The group of warblers were on the access road to WW just before the fence with a rolling gate even with the lone sweet gum tree near the roadway on the left as you enter.
