Wright Farm-Bradley Co
For those of you who got to bird this great area, you will remember it as the
most reliable place for loggerhead shrike in Bradley Co. For those who
remember 20 or so years back, this was the site where Joe Stone found a Western
Kingbird. Anyway, this site will now be referred to as Wacker, and the habitat
has largely been destroyed. The lovely home of Robert and Barbara Wright is
now being used as offices. It is a shame.

Standifer Gap Marsh-Hamilton Co
red-shouldered hawk-3 including mating sighting
sora-heard when John pitched a rock into the marsh-FOY for both of us.
Unfortunately, no Virginia rail heard.
few Canada geese and mallards was the total waterfowl picture

Northern pintail-5m,f-seen in the reregulation pond behind the water that
parallels the levee between the 1.0 and 1.2 mile signs going from the
Shallowford Road end. This has been a stubborn year species for Chattanooga
birders this year. FOY for D.
green-winged teal-32
