Birded the Brainerd levee this afternoon hoping to find shorebirds after the
storm. Well
not too much luck. Saw 3 lesser yellowlegs, 2 blue-winged teal, 4 green
herons but the highlight was a lone forster's tern circling and diving in the
water behind Boyd Buchanan School.
Also birded Standifer Gap marsh and saw 4 orchard orioles (2M&2F), heard a
sora and
saw 1 common yellowthroat.
