I had a high count of 75+ Bufflehead for Cove Lake St. Pk today. Caryville, TN (This was conservative counting from the bridge/causeway due to the park being closed.) The flooding was heavy. Pied Billed Grebes and other ducks were swimming around in the little "low" section near the main road as if it were a new pond. Ring-Billed Gulls were abundant. Wish I could have gotten into the park for a closer look. Many Tree Swallows were about. No telling what was there.
