[TN-Bird] Carroll Co. birds

With practically no time to bird lately, I got out for an hour or so today to 
see if I could run up on anything of note locally around McKenzie. I decided 
to check out a small local lake, Carroll Lake, between McKenzie and 
Huntingdon here in Carroll Co. This was on the off-chance that there could be 
a Swan around. I had heard from a friend that a hunter supposedly saw a Swan 
at this location recently, and since there have been a few Tundra's around 
lately I thought, what the heck. 

I am a LONG way off of Jeff's old record for a TN Big Year, and a VERY LONG 
way off of his amazing run this year, but one more bird for the year would 
put me at an even 290, and Tundra Swan would do it. No luck, but I did get my 
1st Carroll County records for a couple of diving ducks at Carroll Lake. 
Among 78 Ring-necked Ducks, 3 Lesser Scaup, and one Ruddy Duck, were a female 
Canvasback and a male Greater Scaup. Both the Can and Greater Scaup were 1st 
for this area for me. On the way home I saw the adult rufous-morph integrade 
Red-tailed Hawk that has made the same little area just outside McKenzie its 
home for the last two winters.
