4-6 observers checked the SE side of the TN River from Chicamauga Dam to
Wolftever Creek (Harrison Bay State Park) thru Volunteer Reservation to
Standifer Gap Marsh. 8 AM to 12, 28 to 44 degrees F, clear, no wind
some of the more interesting sightings:
Horned Grebe 12
Common Loon 20
Dbl-cr Comorant 14
Bufflehead 4
Ring-necked Duck 2 Volunteer Reservation
Gadwall 50
Com Goldeneye 10
RED-BREASTED MERGANSER 1 Vincent Road
Greater Scaup 6 Dam
American Kestrel 2
Virginia Rail 2 heard Standifer Gap Marsh
Bonaparte's Gull 320 Wolftever Creek
Ring-billed Gull 200 Wolftever Creek
Herring Gull 5 Wolftever Creek
Brown Creeper 3
Hermit Thrush
Fox Sparrow 2 Standifer Gap Marsh
