An immature Common Gallinule was spotted yesterday and today at Kyker Bottoms
Wildlife Refuge. I also saw a Bobolink there yesterday, but did not relocate
it today. Other noteworthy sightings include FOS Sandhill Crane, Lincoln's
Sparrow, American Wigeon, and Golden-crowned Kinglet.
The area in which the gallinule was seen is designated on the map in the
accompanying link as “Open Water” (labeled with an “E”). We walked the “Open
