This afternoon my wife found a Common Merganser along the Little River and took
blurry pictures of it with her phone.  After coming home and picking me up, we
went back and found nine of them at 5:45.  I was able to get a few halfway
decent pictures of them with my camera.  They were located between Walland and
Townsend in the 3600 block of Old Walland Highway.  This was 3.9 miles upstream
from the Walland Bridge and 0.2 miles upstream from Camp Wesley Woods.
Pictures later.
