Birded in the yard from 8:45 - 10:45 am. Had a total of 44 species in that time period, with 11 of those species being warblers. The major highlight of the day was at 9:30 -- a singing male CONNECTICUT WARBLER gave me fantastic views 10-15 feet away! This happens to be a life bird for me, it's been a long time since I've gotten a life bird at the house! My last life bird at the house was a Mourning Warbler in May '06, what a coincidence! Here's a list of some of the other highlights: Chestnut-sided Warbler - 1 singing male Black-throated Green Warbler - 1 singing Pine Warbler - 2+ Prairie Warbler - 3+ Blackpoll Warbler - 3+ singing American Redstart - 1 singing male Kentucky Warbler - 1 male Common Yellowthroat - 4+ Canada Warbler - 1 singing Yellow-breasted Chat - 5+ Scarlet Tanager - 2+ Summer Tanager - 3+ Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 1 Good Birding!
