Spent a couple hours before church on Sunday birding the yard
again. With the rain gone and the sun finally out, the birds
were very active and practically glowing in the sunlight. May
have been a bit less variety but good numbers of individuals,
a few new birds for the year and near deafening singing made
for the most enjoyable of the recent days. I pulled out a
digital recorder to try and record some of the song... hope
it turns out half-way decent though obviously not meant for
this purpose.

So far this morning things were much quieter but still a few
hanging around.
