Birded several spots in Dekalb County from about 11am to about 2pm. Had a
Red Shouldered Hawk on the way to Centerhill Dam. Sunning with his wings
spread on a telephone wire. Beautiful adult bird. At Edgar Evans State
Park best bird was imm. Bald Eagle sitting on a tall dead snag out from boat
ramp number 2. Red-breasted Grosbeak and several Summer Tanagers still
around. Floating Mill Rec area had 9 DC Cormorants sunning and swimming off
the island there. Found a Palm Warbler on Student Home Rd. and a Pied Billed
Grebe in a flooded field there. Had a Red Headed Woodpecker at County
House Rd. Nice midday trip until the rain and hail and 60mph wind hit coming
down the grade out of Smithville. First time I have ever pulled over in the
rain I think. Could not see the hood of my truck much less the road, it
was like driving underwater in a rapid. Anyway had Tennessee's, Redstarts,
Black-throated Greens, Butterbutts, and a few chimney swifts and 2 racoons
sleeping in a tree hollow at Discovery Wetlands in Murfreesboro, TN early
this morning.

I sent FreeList Help and email Last night about the DMARC redacted sender
stuff on some of our post. Was told my email provider is not friendly with
Freelist and DMARC is the best they can do. So , if you are a DMARC your
email provider does not like freelist for some reason. Question has
finally been answered I guess.

Good Birding
