[TN-Bird] Douglas Dam Sightings

Douglas Dam
French Broad River
Sevier County, Tennessee

Returning from a weekend getaway with family on Douglas Lake, my wife
and stopped briefly at the Douglas Dam to look for shore birds and try
out a new Nikon Fieldscope.  Birds that were seen near the tail water
area of the dam include:

Double Breasted Cormorant: 2 adults and 1 juvenile
Black Crowned Night Herons:  4 adults
Great Blue Herons:  6 adults
Bank swallows:  numerous
Kingfisher:  1
