[TN-Bird] Eagle Bend hatchery

TN-birders,
Dollyann & I made a late afternoon run to the Eagle Bend fish hatchery in
Anderson Co., TN. The trip produced the first waterfowl of the winter season
for us and a couple of other nice surprises.
Gadwall – 4
Blue-winged Teal – 4
Green-winged teal – 5
Ring-necked Duck – 1
Pied-billed Grebe – 3
Red-shouldered Hawk – nice juvenile sitting on the fence at the entrance
Least Sandpiper – 1
Wilson’s Snipe – 2
Savannah Sparrow – 4
Nice outing. It’s been pretty dull out here recently.
