TN-birders,

Dollyann & I checked out Eagle Bend fish hatchery in Anderson Co. late this
morning to see if the weather brought anything it with it. It did.

Great Egret – 1. One was at the hatchery a couple of weeks ago but we haven’t
seen it lately.
Lesser Yellowlegs – 9. First shorebirds we’ve had here in a few weeks, except
Killdeer.
Common Tern – 25, in all sorts of plumages. Our first record at this location,
raising our total species count here to 171.
Tennessee Warbler – 20. Or more. They were feeding in the cocklebur plants in
the back left pond.
Savannah Sparrow – 4. First of the fall season and our earliest record here
(previous record was Sept. 29).

Great birding,
Ron Hoff & Dollyann Myers
Clinton, TN
