[TN-Bird] Re: Fall in the Smokies?

Here in the Charlotte Park section of West Nashville just east of the old 
Cleece's Ferry, a "first grackle arrived yesterday and was still around today.  
He is probably the "scout" flying ahead of the jillions in flocks soon to come.
The opossum is out on the deck eating grape jelly right now, and he is 
missing some plugs of fur.  Something has had a hold on it.  Maybe that is why 
it 
missed last night's visit to my feeder.
