Thursday 3/29: During my run this morning I heard Fish Crows near Thompson Boling Arena on the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville. They flew directly over me, calling (cah-ing) softly, landed briefly on the top of the dorms just north of the UT Aquatic Ctr, then flew back toward the river. Within the last 2 weeks I have seen Fish Crows at Lakeshore Park and heard them in the Lyons Bend neighborhood across the river from the UT Plant Sciences Farm. Also saw my first Barn Swallow of the season along the river by the arena this morning.
