I managed to get out to the Franklin Reservoir today and was not disappointed.
I found my personal county-firsts Bonaparte’s Gull and Herring Gull (first
winter bird) hanging out with approximately 2 dozen Ring-billed. Waterfowl
numbers were high for this spot but the best bird was a male Common Merganser.
