TN-Birders: Charlie Muise sent me a message on July 8 asking about his e-mail situation. I sent him a personal, direct message to him about the problem and also included the posted explanation I was sending to everyone off list about the server problem. I made sure was not on vacation status. I checked a few minutes ago and he is still all clear for messages and the vacation status is still not set to stop his mail. Eight days later, on July 16, Charlie and I had another speedy reply about messages for the list and you can read those messages below. You will see for yourself that he was reaching me and that I might be slow but I ain't missing in action. Also note in his July 16 message, less than two weeks ago, that he does not mention any problem with his e-mail for TN-Birds. I can find no other communications with him on my computer but that does not mean it was not sent. Just after our July 16 correspondence I was away on vacation to Charleston SC. I have just been back a little over a week. It is not that I don't take time to send messages like this to the membership. Nor did I not take time to help Charlie Muise get his vacation satatus handled at his request. I did offer he and and his lovely wife best wishes with a new marriage and tropical honeymoon. I have been communicating with Charlie Muise. I am not lost in space or in some timewarp. I just don't want our 412 subscribers and more than a 1,000 subcriber readers, and those who read from websites, to think TN-Bird's leadership has died and gone to hell. I might die soon and I might go to hell but I am alive and responding to Charlie Muise. His e-mail subscription is just fine as far as I can tell. Enjoy.... Let's go birding and be sure and read correspondence below with Charlie.
