Hi, Noticed this on the GA listserv so thought I would forward to the TN listserv. I really wish I could chase it, but we're getting ready to leave on a trip, so maybe some others can go and document it. Good Birding! David Hollie Ringgold, GA Catoosa Co. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: SPANGLE <SPANGLE@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, Apr 21, 2008 at 11:33 AM Subject: [GABO-L] Almost a Georgia Yellow Headed Blackbird!! To: GABO-L@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx While on a bike ride Sunday I observed a female Yellow Headed Blackbird about 1.7 miles north of the Tennessee/Georgia line on Red Clay Park Road. This is just west (1-1/4 mi) of HWY 60 and .6 miles south of HWY 317. I know this is for Georgia birds but this one is close enough I thought it might make a nice year/life bird for the guy and girls up in the Dalton area. It also seems odd that several of these birds have now shown up in the area. I wonder if it is climate related? Sandy Pangle Whitfield County No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG.
