Black-headed Grosbeak (Pheucticus melanocephalus) 1 Continuing rarity
first spotted by the homeowner yesterday, many thanks to Joanie Webb for
letting birders visit. Immature male, brown wings with bold wing bars; strong
buffy coloring underneath; bold white eyebrow and chin stripes contrasting
with brown cheek; large wedge bill. Observed and photographed by others.
