Not a Tennessee event, but I thought any birder would be interested in this
post to the Arkansas birds list serv.

Fyi. Incredible fallout on an Alaskan cruise ship while in BC northern
waters. Petrels, phalaropes, sapsuckers, warblers, and sparrows including
~1800 Golden-Crowned Sparrows on September 29, 2017. BC has gone from summer
to early fall of record-breaking temperatures and wildfires to torrential
rain and high winds this past month. In fact, we just received a record of an
Ancient Murrelet in BC’s southern interior.
