The viewing tower at Coldwater River National Wildlife Refuge is now open for public use. We ask that all visitors remain on the boardwalk and the tower, and not walk out on the levees. In an effort to limit disturbance to birds on the ponds and offer a true sanctuary, we will no longer issue Special Use Permits for accessing the levees. Levee access will be limited to official management and survey activities.
