Sorry for the delayed posting. I met Steven Zipperer on Friday Nov 21 on Buncombe Road in hopes of seeing an eagle. Also present was one of the local landowners who was very interested in what we were doing and also very helpful. He was aware of the eagles and had seen them on a somewhat regular basis. It was a nice sunny day with a good number of soaring birds, mostly Turkey Vultures, with a few Black Vultures and RT hawks present as well. Over several hours, we had no luck. The GPS coordinates in Scott Somershoe's recent e-mail did not correlate with the site using my GPS, but we felt sure we were in the right place. The number on the mailbox across from a large field which features a greenish barn full of pigeons is 2716. If anyone has any luck, I am up for another try. Apparently eagles have been wintering here for some time. Cheers Terry Witt Murfreesboro Tn
