I thought many of you would be very interested to know that the Golden Eagle we
trapped at Hatfield Knob on N Cumberland WMA in Feb 2013 has been on the move.
He has worked his way south from Canada, through Vermont, eastern NY and on Nov
29th he passed almost directly over the hawk watch at Hawk Mountain in
Pennsylvania! He's currently in West Virginia about due west of DC. From the
last location, someone should have added Golden Eagle to their yard list, if
they were paying attention.

Only one tracked Golden has ever passed by Hawk Mountain (and that's a lot of
birds and migrations) and 3 passed by last week!

Our other Golden is still in Ontario, Canada east of Detroit.

Short blog update with map of Hatfield Knob and track with respect to Hawk
Mountain. I'm updating the blog 1-2 times a week with info on their locations
as we get new info, so
bookmark the page and check back regularly.
