This was the best warbler day of the spring for us with 9 species: Chestnut-sided, Yellow-throated, several Magnolias, Common Yellowthroat, Blue-winged, Northern Parula, Pine, American Redstart, and my favorite warbler, a gorgeous flaming Blackburnian. This week we've seen Canada, Hooded and a Yellow-throated Vireo in addition to several of the same warblers we saw today. We always wish these little beautiful creatures would hang around longer but are thankful they choose to come to our yard to rest and feed and let us see them before they move further south.
