TN BIRDERS: I only had a short while to spend at the Standifer Gap Marsh (Hamilton County) this morning but it was very profitable. The American Golden Plover was the highlight for me. There was my FOY Great Egret that had been reported there a couple of days ago. N. Rough-winged, Barn and the numerous Tree Swallows were all over the place. I don't have my Purple Martin yet for the year. Although it is way early I was still looking through the swallows wishing for a Bank. At the mud flats around the little ponds there were also: Pectoral Sandpiper Solitary Sandpiper Lesser Yellow Legs American Pipits Good Birding.
