There are three noticeable fieldmarks that point to a Horned and not Eared
Grebe: 1. the solid vs. wispy yellow on the side of the head, 2. the rufous
vs. black neck, and 3. the speckled and not solid back pattern-a very nice
plumage we don't often see.

I found this grebe? and baltimore oriole at chester frost park today. They
both were spotted in the camping area where the RVs are at. Can someone ID
the grebe? Is it eared grebe? Thanks!
