Harpeth River Greenway
Bellevue, Davidson Co.
2018 December 24

This foggy and frosty Christmas Eve Monday morning I took a walk at
the Harpeth River Greenway. I found the usual common birds along
the walk until I approached end of my walk. Fortunately the fog
had partially lifted when I spotted a LINCOLN'S SPARROW in the
weeds next to the small lake the parallels Morton Mill Road. After
I lost it, a fellow walker asked if I had seen the otter family
in the lake this morning. He said that he had seen a family of 5 in
the small lake several times over the past 2 weeks or so.
Unfortunately, they were not seen today.
