Thanks to Mike Todd finding and posting about the Harris's Sparrow south of
McKenzie, we saw that beautiful lifer bird this morning. He gave us good
directions to find it for ourselves, but in typical Mike Todd kindness, he was
waiting for us at the site when we arrived after a three hour drive. He had
already located the bird and within a few minutes it reappeared for us to enjoy
too with some great looks at it.
Now if he will find us a Black-chinned, Golden-crowned and both Sharp-taileds
we will have seen all the USA sparrows. And we wouldn't be surprised if he did
find them right here in Tennessee with his great eyes and ears.
