I had 101 species this morning mostly in Henry County, a few birds from
the Duck River Unit and Perry County. Highlights are listed here;
Redhead 1 male, Lick Creek
Red-breasted Merganser 8, Pace Point
Pacific Loon 1 still in mostly basic plumage, Britton Ford. (Present for
6 months, Oct-March)
Sandhill Crane 1 at Bennet's Creek
American Golden Plover 4 at the DRU
Greater Yellowlegs, Bennet's Creek
Lesser Yellowlegs, Bennet's Creek
Least Sandpiper, 5 at the DRU
Pectoral Sandpiper, numerous throughout, with a high count of 473 at the
DRU.
Forster's Tern 5, Britton Ford and Eagle Creek.
Barn Owl 1 flyby before dawn, Perry County.
Chimney Swift, 2 at Britton Ford
Merlin, 1 in Cherry Bottoms
Fish Crow, 1 heard at Bennet's Creek
Louisiana Waterthrush 1 at Britton Ford
Brown Creeper 1
Winter Wren 2
Blue-gray gnatcatcher 1
Golden-crowned Kinglet 19
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 3
Vesper Sparrow, 1 at Bennet's Creek, 1 in Perry County.
