This evening while sitting on my back porch grilling supper I counted 18
Chipping Sparrows in my back yard. Not and exciting migrant but I always
fun to watch. I have 2 or 3 in the yard all summer but this is a high count
for me. I have lived here for 18 years and never seen this many at one
time. Still have 3 Ruby-throated Hummers fighting over my feeder.
