It is sad to report that longtime TOS member and worldwide birder Holly (Harriet) Overton died the night of October 29, 2003. For those of us who knew Holly for so many years it seemed that she could just keep going. Her search for birds brought her a list of over 5000 in over 50 countries (if memory serves). She had been in charge of refreshments for the Knoxville Chapter for many years. A service will be held at Second Presbyterian Church, Kingston Pike, Knoxville, 3 p.m., Sunday, November 1.
