I just got a message from Bob Sargent. I had sent him some photos earlier today. He said, based on the color of green on the back, the extention of the tail beyond the wing tips and the shape pf P10, he thinks this bird is another Ruby-throated. He thinks the head color is due to feeding in tubular flowers this fall. I will get with Bob Daly, our local hummingbird bander, and have him try his hand at capturing the bird and getting an in-hand ID. Those wanting to add a Black-chinned to your state/life list may want to wait a few days/weeks. Damien Simbeck Killen, AL
