I walked around the greenway at Cove Lake State Park in Caryville (Campbell County, Tenn.) yesterday (Sunday) and there were hummingbirds everywhere in the little orange flowers. The ones that held still long enough for me to get a good look were all ruby throats. Maybe this is usual for this time of year there but I've never seen so many at one time before.

Also saw a black and white warbler high in the tree tops.
