This cool Tuesday morning I stopped once again at J. Percy Priest Lake
Dam to search for the RED-THROATED LOON that was first found there over
a week ago. After missing the bird several previous mornings over the
past week, and away at the Wings of Winter festival, which was a super
event this past weekend, it was with a sigh of relief that I finally
spotted the loon this morning within 15 minutes of my arrival.
