I stopped by the Big Sandy Unit TNWR this morning to try for the possible
Jaeger species that was seen there yesterday evening. Didn't have any luck
with that or the American Avocet reported at Pace Point, but I had a few
other odds and ends.
LASHLEE SPRINGS OVERLOOK
Hundreds of Tree Swallows (400-600 total including those from Rocky and
Pace Points).
Several hundred dabblers passing through in small flocks, mostly
Gadwalls, Shovelers and Mallards. A few Lesser Scaup around.
Still only one Loon.

DUCK RIVER UNIT TNWR
Over 100 divers in a raft at the Pump Station, mostly Scaup, Ring-necked
Ducks and Ruddy Ducks. Also a few Horned Grebes.
Several thousand dabblers in the mouth of the Duck River. Mostly
Gadwalls, a lot of Shovelers, Mallards, Pintails, Green-winged Teal.

No Eared Grebe.
