Rainy day at the lake sent me packing at noon after 2 hours of solid rain and
no end in sight

I started at Pace Point at dawn
The roadwork is finished and any vehicle can now navigate the entire road system

In the fields below Bennetts Overlook, 2 Marsh Wrens, 1 Sedge Wren
At the point there is a nice gull roost, about 100 birds, mostly Ring-bills, a
few adult Herrings and 12 Caspian Terns

Eagle Creek boat launch, lots of mud flats exposed
Large gull roost with several hundred birds, another flock of Caspian Terns
With the Ring-bills and Herrings was one adult Lesser Black-backed Gull

No migrant shorebirds seen, only a few ducks here now
Cheers
