Started the day in the fields below the Bennetts Creek overlook and ran into Mike Todd looking for some of the same birds. Between these fields and the flooded field below the kiosk at the entry to the WMA, we saw a number of LeConte's Sparrows, several mostly uncooperative Nelson's Sparrows, and other assorted expected species. At Pace Point, the gull roost yielded one Laughing Gull with the Ring-Bills 3 Surf Scoters patrolled the east side of the island.
