This past Thursday afternoon, (9.24.20), I drove out to the Eagleville Sod
Farms in Rutherford county and scanned the fields at the end of the day.
There were very few species present, but there was one sandpiper which
confused me at the time. I ultimately passed off as probably a Pec I
wasn't getting a good look at, but I took some distant photos to review
later. It took me two days to get around to that, and after sending the
pics to several advanced shore-birders yesterday, unanimous consensus has
been that I overlooked a rather rare Fall White-Rumped Sandpiper.
