[TN-Bird] Least Sandpiper at Walter S. Davis Blvd Marsh

On my way to work early this morning I again checked the marsh
near TSU to see if there were any new migrants. The overnight
rains had slightly increased the water level and stopped the
drying out. But the dense low dark clouds made the light level
poor. Ducks have certainly come in the past couple days with
plenty of MALLARDs and several N. SHOVELERs, GREEN-WINGED TEAL,
GADWALLs, and a single AMERICAN WIGEON and AMERICAN COOT. The
KILLDEER were active, but eventually I found a single shorebird
of a different stripe. I got my scope to identify a lone LEAST
SANDPIPER in crisp plumage. A nice start to the day.
