I don't think anyone has seen the Lesser Black-backed Gull at Scenic Point/Ish Creek in Blount County since Saturday. I scanned some of the the gulls with bins only (not scope) today and did not see it. The water is up again and most of the gulls were pretty far away. It would be really interesting to track where the different flocks of gulls go everyday when they leave these big night roosting sites every morning and return at night.

I checked out Concord boat ramp late this afternoon 12/21/2015 in Knox County.
I noticed the gulls seemed to be settling in for the night down closer to the
Cove. I went down to Col Bill Felton bridge and started scoping the gulls. As
Marcia Davis had speculated, the Lesser Black-backed gull that was seen in
Blount Count on Saturday was roosting with the large raft of gulls up near
Concord.

I was easily able to find this bird several times in a raft of what appeared to
be 1000 gulls.
