[TN-Bird] Locally abundant Wood thrushs along Natchez Trace

Hearing a calling Wood thrush at the first* stop South of the Lieper's Fork
exit on the Natchez Trace on Saturday, I remarked to my companion that this
was one of the neotropical migrants in some difficulty, and that it was
becoming difficult to hear one in my Sewanee neighborhood.

We heard one at nearly every subsequent stop thereafter, (including two at
one stop!), and watched one foraging practically underneath our
destination, the Meriwether Lewis Monument near Hohenwald.

I wonder if this indicates a local abundance along the Trace, a problem in
Sewanee, a difference in wintering grounds, or some other explanation?

*(beginning at the Nashville termius)
